about the Oceans... the key largo reefs are the reason i moved to the keys.. and it is very sad... to see what has happened to our Oceans... the only living Oceans in the entire universe... all damaged by industrial giants who probably just laugh all the way to the bank...


i actually think that when enough "mom's"... discover their children are suffering brain damage... just from breast feeding... there will be a world-wide out-cry heard through-out the entire universe... against the industrial giants... to force them to pay at least for all the therapy their children will require... unfortunately... there is no way to undo what has happened during the brain's neural development... this is such an incredible crime ...


and all we little folks can do right now is raise public awareness... and i have talked to coral reef scientists.. but they mainly talk amongst themselves... and they are probably the only ones who read their own scientific journals... if they do... and the public does not even want to know all that "doom and gloom stuff" and research statistics... they just want to "enjoy life"... and have another beer...


we scuba divers can actually play a role in getting the info out simply by publishing it on the web... blog.. blog.. blog.. like a child's life depends on it... because it does... and giant chemical industry will hate me for it... but it's the only moral thing to do... they tried their best to hide... but PCBs don't ever go away... might take thousands of years... talk about lost WMD's... this PCB dumping makes Sadam look like a boy scout... but tearing down a monument wont solve the problem... and it just seems like most people on "myspace" just wants to put "pretty pictures" on the Internet...

some bits of research are finally connecting the dots with "Ocean + Plastic + PCB = Autism"... but i cant tell you how many people... even researchers... here in the Keys... who just cant believe it when i tell them that this scenario is unfolding day by day with all the plastic in the ocean... it's transporting the toxic PCB right up the entire food chain... just a matter of time unless we can get the stuff out... so i started a petition to help get people awake to this catastrophe that is unfolding every day that the sun shines...


now when beached whales test at 1000 to 5000 PPM in PCB's... and their immune systems are shot... and they are ravaged by cancers and tumors and viruses that these mammals never had before... the writing is one the wall...

and i think this is a major reason we are
seeing a *GLOBAL* die off of coral reefs.
This problem started in the late 70's,
when the sea urchins died off... coinciding
with the time industrial giants were dumping
tons of PCB into the Ocean.

and this PCB waste is rampant in the entire world...
when they incinerate into the sky... it rains back down from the clouds... and now it's even in cow's milk, butter and cheese... and PCB probably has played a significant role in the loss of bees and birds worldwide...
